About Your-Self

Satsang means sitting in the company of truth, This is done through silent sitting and the asking of questions to a teacher who may respond with more questions, or a story, or any other response. The response is always a means to deepen the view of the one asking.

  • What view is there to be deepened?
  • Who asks anyway?
  • Who responds?

The fundamental questions of Yoga are:

  • Who is this?
  • What is this?
  • Who asks?
  • Who seeks?
  • Who is this I?
  • What is this I?

When we know, who we are, as lived experience then we are Yoga.

As Hari Das Baba said,

"Who realises? That is realisation."

What is truth? The ultimate Yogic truth is seen as the deep clear light of awareness that we all are. Other than that, all is in flow. Seeking to hang onto an identity of flow is pretty much guaranteed to lead to confusion and disarray. Sitting in the company of truth is sitting in the company of the deep truth in you and as you, just that. This truth is also reflected in those around you.

The teacher is just a friend, a friend who lovingly facilitates changes that you are already seeking and that you put into place.

The changes you seek, that are deeply connected to your pure essential truth.

Satsang is sitting with those who have learnt or are learning to laugh at the joke of 'Two', as Hafiz would have it.

Come and share time and space with Christopher and Friends, learn more about your-Self. Next meetings will be posted on this site in the Events Diary.
